Just sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a light jacket, and any food or drinks you'd like. We provide all rods, reels, bait, and tackle. Soft-soled shoes are best on the boat.

Absolutely. Capt. Jim loves teaching kids how to fish. No video games, no screens — just fresh air and a memory they'll keep for life.

Yes — within Massachusetts size and bag limits. Capt. Jim will help fillet your catch so you can bring home dinner.

What if the weather is bad?

Safety first. If conditions aren't right, we'll reschedule your trip — no charge, no hassle. Light rain isn't usually a problem; serious wind or lightning is.

Is this beginner friendly?

Yes. Most of our guests are beginners or families. Capt. Jim handles everything — you just have fun.

There's nothing like the peace and quiet of the ocean. The pressures of the week dissolve away as Capt. Jim steers the PESCE out of Falmouth Harbor and into Vineyard Sound.

Capt. Jim has spent his life on the waters of Cape Cod. From Vineyard Sound to Buzzards Bay, he knows where the fish are running, when the tide is right, and which spot will work on a given morning.

He runs the PESCE — a spacious 31′ Downeast-style Duffy built for these New England waters. She’s outfitted with everything the U.S. Coast Guard requires, plus GPS, VHF, radar, and an EPIRB. You’re in good hands.
